A Florida driver was killed in an accident by a woman speeding with a revoked license. The 23-year-old driver Cody Garrick was struck at the intersection at Presidents Dr and Sand Lake Rd by a speeding Nissan Pathfinder driven by 27-year-old Syndia Saint Cyr. A Florida deputy had been following Saint Cyr with lights on and she kept driving and accelerating until she ran a red light crashing into Garrick’s vehicle. Garrick was pronounced dead at the scene of the auto accident by local emergency crews. Saint Cyr was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. She was later taken into custody and booked into the Orange County Jail. Local Florida authorities are investigating the fatal car accident.
