Six People Injured in Roller coaster Derailment in Daytona Beach Florida

The roller coaster accident occurred at the Daytona Beach Boardwalk when the “Sand Blaster” coaster came off its tracks and two people fell to the ground over 30 feet causing serious injuries. Six were sent to the hospital because of the theme park accident. Emergency crews worked to rescue riders trapped over thirty feet off the ground when the coaster became derailed from its tracks. The ride is owned by Daytona Beach Boardwalk Amusement Rides Inc., the cause of the derailment is under investigation by the local authorities. It is unknown if this roller coaster has previous issues it was reported that the ride was over 40 years old.

SeaWorld Sky Tower Stuck Trapping Passengers

An industrial accident was listed at shortly after 1 p.m. at Florida’s SeaWorld. The Orange County Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene to and were able to lower the ride to the ground. It is unclear as to why the tower malfunctioned trapping fifty passengers and two employees for over two hours. The ride remains closed as an investigation is in process as to why it malfunctioned.
